Advanced Hair Styling Fundamentals
This program covers the technical foundation you need for consistent salon results. We focus on sectioning patterns that actually make sense, tension control during cutting, and how to read hair texture before you pick up scissors.
You'll work through blow-dry techniques for volume and smoothness, proper round brush selection based on hair length, and flat iron methods that don't cause damage. We also cover product layering—what goes on wet hair versus dry, and why sequence matters more than brand.
What Makes This Different
Instead of following generic tutorials, you'll learn diagnostic skills. How to assess porosity, elasticity, and density in under 30 seconds. How to adjust your technique when someone has fine hair versus coarse hair. The small details that separate decent work from professional results.
